Multi-month Fish & Wildlife investigation leads to seven arrests

A multi-month investigation into illegal deer hunting in Rockingham and surrounding towns began Dec. 5 and ended last month. It ultimately lead to seven arrests. 

Christopher Brough Sr., 51, was charged with 34 misdemeanors in both Windham and Windsor Counties. Charges included hunting under revocation, possession of an illegal big game animal, failure to tag a big game animal, taking deer in excess of the annual limit, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, false information to law enforcement authorities, possession of an illegal big game animal, shooting from a motor vehicle/public highway, taking big game by illegal means, taking big game outside of the legal day.

Additionally, Dominique Brough, 29, of Rockingham, was charged with aiding in hunting under revocation and false information to law enforcement. Stephan Brough, 32, of Chester, was charged with possession of an illegal big game animal. Christopher Brough Jr., 27, of Hartland, pwas charged with possession of an illegal big game animal.

Shaun Richardson, 40, from Chester, pleaded guilty to hunting under revocation, false information to law enforcement authorities, and prohibited persons possessing firearms. 

Diana Brough, 51, of Rockingham, was charged with aiding in possession of an illegal big game animal.

A juvenile was also charged.
