The Rutland County Humane Society’s Spay the Mom program is simple and free. If you’re a Rutland County resident, you can bring any mom cat or dog and all her kittens or puppies to us at no charge. In exchange, the Humane Society will spay the mom and return her to you at no cost. The kittens and puppies will be adopted into loving new homes after being spayed and neutered. Please help spread the word if you know of a female cat or dog with kittens or puppies! For more information, please call the RCHS shelter at 802-483-6700.
