Artisan Marketplace at the Chaffee Art Center opens Saturday

Saturday, May 8 at 10 a.m.—RUTLAND—Stop by the new Artisan Marketplace outside on the Chaffee grounds starting this Saturday, May 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and throughout the summer and fall. 

It’ll be open just in time for Mother’s Day with lots of gift ideas inside and outside the Chaffee.

Booths will change each week with artists, crafters, specialty foods and more selling their handmade items on the front, side and back lawns. Booths are available per Saturday as low as $20 for members up to $45 for non-members.

The Gallery Shoppe has great items as well, so be sure to come inside to see Ann Clark Ltd. cookie cutters, paintings, paper quilled flowers, syrup, cards and more. Plus, take a tour of the 1890s historic mansion and explore the student exhibit and artist member works throughout.
