Killington, Pico resorts suspends midweek parking reservations

Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 19, Killington Resort and Pico Mountain Resort will only require parking reservations on Saturdays, Sundays and peak days, Feb. 15-19.

“We are able to make this change because our lift and terrain capacity are allowing plenty of space for social distancing and we have not had a need to limit visits on midweek days. This new policy will be in effect for the foreseeable future, but we may need to reinstate midweek parking reservations in the spring, in the event that limited terrain once again creates capacity issues,” the resort explained in a statement last week.

If you currently have midweek parking reservations, you do not need to cancel them — the parking no-show policy will not be in effect on days when no reservation is required. The no-show policy will still be in effect on days when reservations are required, so please be mindful and cancel weekend and peak reservations that you will not be using.

“We hope this change will make it just a bit easier to visit The Beast, and we remind you that the rest of our Operation Stay Safe requirements, including Cross-State Travel Guidelines, remain in place,” the resort continued.
