Mettawee School District continues FY22 budget deliberations

The Mettawee School District Board conducts an online meeting at 6:30 p.m., Monday, Jan.11, to finalize its work on the proposed Fiscal Year 2022 (FY22) budget. The spending level agreed to at this meeting will be submitted to the residents of Pawlet and Rupert for approval in a vote scheduled for Tuesday, March 2. FY22 covers education spending for the year of July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022. The public is encouraged to attend the virtual meeting online.

In addition to the FY22 budget, the Mettawee Board will also review plans for engaging the public to solicit feedback on the future of schools. This information will be a valuable resource as the Board reviews and determines its goals for educating the children of Pawlet and Rupert during these changing times.
