Ingredients:
1 oz apple brandy (Lairds, or Calvados)
1 oz Cognac
1 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
3/4 oz ginger root infused maple syrup
Hot water
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Directions:
Mix brandy, cognac, lemon juice and maple syrup in a mug. Fill with just boiled water to taste (about 8 oz), and stir. Top with 2 dashes of Angostura bitters, and enjoy! Can be garnished with a lemon peel, apple slice, cinnamon stick, or cloves.
You can also sub in bourbon for the brandy and cognac (so 2 oz. bourbon total).
