The Fighting Saints men’s basketball team will be at home, matched up against Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences on Feb. 5, 2015.
Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences sits at 4-10 overall, with a 3-1 record in their conference. They are a USCAA Division II team, therefore this game will affect seeding within the division.
Albany is led by senior Casey Redfern, who is averaging 20.3 points per game. As a team they only score 68 points per game but also hold opponents to just 65.
The Fighting Saints will look to give themselves an even better ranking within the USCAA with a win. The Saints have climbed to number six now, and with a win could see themselves move up even further. The Saints will need to play their game: strong pressure on the ball with good transition offense, along with good ball movement to create open three-point shots with their plethora of shooters.
Tip off will be at 8 pm. at the College of St. Joseph Athletic Center. Admission is free and the game will be streamed live by STCN. The Saints men will then have a week off until they host Hampshire on Feb. 12.
