Killington Aquatic Club celebrates swimmers’ success

KILLINGTON—Killington Aquatic Club’s competition swim team competed on Jan. 18 at Norwich University. Swimmers Bailey Peters, Justine Peters, Heidi Alf, and Logan Sudol competed in five individual swimming events. Bailey Peters, a national-level swimmer, received first place overall among the 15-to-18-year-old boys, where he won the 100 Fly, 100 Free, and 200 Individual Medley. Peters will be competing in Boston for the age group qualifying meet. Heidi Alf finished second overall for the 9-to-10-year-old girls, where she also qualified for the Silvers meet in two of her events. Both swimmers travel to Green Mountain Aquatics in February to continue to earn qualifying times.
