Community Health at 71 Allen St. has opened a new eye care clinic in Rutland, enhancing local access to comprehensive vision services for individuals and families in the region. The clinic is part of Community Health’s broader effort to provide high-quality, patient-centered care close to home. The new facility will offer a wide range of services, including routine and advanced eye exams, diagnostics, treatments for various eye conditions, surgical consultations, and eyewear. Equipped with modern technology and guided by a commitment to individualized care, the clinic aims to meet both basic and specialized vision needs.
Joining the new practice is Dr. Vered Sobel, a well-known ophthalmologist and longtime member of the Rutland medical community. Dr. Sobel brings years of experience and a dedication to personalized treatment, expanding Community Health’s capacity to serve patients requiring both general and complex ophthalmologic care.
“Our goal is to offer accessible, high-quality eye care to individuals and families in our community,” said Mike Gardner, CEO of Community Health. “With the addition of Dr. Sobel and our new clinic, we are well-equipped to meet the growing demand for vision services and promote overall eye health.”
Community Health also plans to broaden its offerings by adding an optometrist to the team by the end of the year. The expansion underscores the organization’s continued investment in meeting the evolving health needs of the region.
