QUECHEE — The Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) is proud to present a winter art exhibition of the watercolor paintings of Jeanette Fournier. Her animal and nature artwork will be on exhibit in the VINS Nature Center Classroom from Jan. 5 through March 31.
Jeanette is a wildlife artist whose watercolor paintings are inspired by nature, particularly the mountainous areas of New Hampshire and Vermont. Growing up with family ties in both the White Mountains and the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, she spent a great deal of time in the woods observing and drawing nature. It was during this formative period when she began developing her artistic skills. She currently works out of her New Hampshire studio, Nature’s Way Studio.
Ms. Fournier’s work has been accepted to the “Art of the Animal Kingdom,” the “Adirondack National Exhibition of American Watercolors” and the North East Watercolor Society Annual International Exhibition, three prestigious national art exhibitions in New England. She has also exhibited with The Society of Animal Artists. Her art has received several awards and is included in private collections in New England and beyond.
