Thomas W. “Tj” Patch Jr., 56, of Rutland died Wednesday, July 22, in Killington, after an work-related accident at the Killington Resort golf course. A fellow employee found Patch under a tractor, where it is estimated he had been for 15 minutes. Emergency resuscitation efforts proved unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Patch worked at Killington resort for 29 years.
“This was a tragic accident that took his life and has left his family devastated,” Kristina Patch posted on GoFundMe page dedicated to Patch’s family.
Visitation will be at Tossing Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020, from 1-3 p.m.
The family asks that guests dress casually “as Tj would hate to have everyone make a fuss over him.”
