Wednesday, June 1- at 5 p.m—RUTLAND— The Pine Hill Partnership has a couple of community work nights coming up.
The first is Wednesday, June 10 from 5-7 p.m. and another Thursday, June 18 from 5-7 p.m.
To participate, meet in the Giorgetti parking lot (Oak St. Ext in Rutland) next to the tool trailer at 5 p.m. Bring water, gloves and bug dope. The goal is to finish a little over 200 feet on Milk Run over the course of a few weeks.
They were able to get drainages refined this past Tuesday. Next up is moving a few rocks out of the trail tread and digging dirt. Some small rocks need to be picked up and put into buckets to fill in big holes in the trail tread where bigger rocks come out.Work will continue until about 7 or 7:30 p.m. Kids are welcome.
