Obit: Diana Lynn Gildersleeve, 62

Diana Lynn Gildersleeve, 62, passed away peacefully at her home in Bridgewater, Vermont, on March 31, 2020.

Born Sept. 18, 1957, to parents Joyce (Wardwell) and Raymond Phillips, she was a graduate of Woodstock Union High School class of 1976. Diana Gildersleeve worked at the Book Bindery, the original Cole Farm Restaurant, Bridgewater Country Store, Pam’s Place, Cutting Edge Technologies, Mac’s Market, and Sladust.

She loved elephants, going to Old Orchard Beach, loved her puzzles, collecting pennies, and most of all her family and friends.

She is survived by her long-time partner Pete Oldenburg, daughter Jessica Phillips, son William Gildersleeve and partner Jessica Stanley, son Thomas Gildersleeve, three grandchildren: Sadie Lynn Phillips Harlow, Maxx Phillips, Alixx Phillips, and one great-grandchild Ryker Robinson. She is also survived by her mother, Joyce Phillips, and siblings: Doug Phillips, Mike Phillips, Steve Phillips, and Becky Adams. She is pre-deceased by husband William B. Gildersleeve, siblings Craig Phillips, Pam Phillips, Debra Phillips, and her father Raymond Phillips.

Memorial donations may be made to Neighbors Helping Neighbors, P.O. Box 39, Bridgewater, Vermont 05034.

Services will be held at a later date when we can all come together to celebrate her life.
