Friday, Dec. 5 at 12 p.m. — RUTLAND — College of St. Joseph will present “Health for the Holidays: Helping Make the Holidays More Restful than Stressful” at 12-noon on Friday, Dec. 5, at Speakeasy Cafe in Rutland.
For many, the holidays season is a favorite time of year. But, with all of the revelry, wassailing, decorating, gift-wrapping and baking can come a lot of stress – and calories. This free event will help you maintain a healthy mind and body throughout the holiday season.
Dr. Michael Kesler, chair of the CSJ Psychology & Human Services Division, will offer tips and techniques to help you relieve holiday stress and find greater joy during this wonderful time of year. Kimberly Griffin, wellness guru at CSJ, will offer tips on how to eat and live healthier through the holidays. The speakers will also answer questions from the audience and discuss issues surrounding holiday wellness.
This talk is part of the In the Know with Joe series, a monthly series of community talks with CSJ’s expert faculty and staff, centered around timely topics.
Speakeasy Cafe is located at 67 Center St. in Downtown Rutland.
