Tuesday, Jan. 23, 7 p.m.—RUTLAND—Rutland County Audubon presents an interesting program about dragonflies on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. Did you know, in Vermont, 146 species of dragonflies have been recorded, and 117 of those have been found in Rutland County?
Mike Blust, author of “Odonata of Vermont” and retired biologist from Green Mountain College, will show slides and reveal details about these fascinating creatures. The program will be held at Grace Congregational Church, 8 Court St., Rutland. For info, email birding@rutlandcountyaudubon.org.
