Saturday, Nov. 10, 3 p.m.—WOODSTOCK— The ninth annual Woodstock Vermont Film Series at the Billings Farm & Museum will feature the award-winning documentary “Dateline: Saigon” on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. in HD projection and surround sound, with complimentary refreshments. Reservations are strongly recommended.
Director Tom Herman spent 12 years making the film, that revisits five Pulitzer-Prize winning journalists whose controversial and groundbreaking reporting shed important light on the early years of the Vietnam War. With all the high-stakes drama of “All the President’s Men,” the film serves as a reminder of the role that a free press plays during times of stress and uncertainty.
