Some towns continue to celebrate Indpendence Day this weekend. From concerts to barbecues and fireworks, there’s something for everybody. Here are our top picks:

 Brandon Independence Celebration

Jul 6 @ 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Brandon’s Independence Day Celebration begins with Street Dance, 6-10 p.m. with music for all ages by DJ Jam Man Entertainment, food vendors. Fun for all in Seminary Park, with free shuttles. brandon.org.

Homegrown Arts Festival

Jul 6 @ 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Ludlow Town Hall is host to Homegrown Arts Festival featuring Jackson Ellis and his new novel “Lords of St. Thomas”; Rachel Carter, author of “So Close To You”; and Asher Ellis, author of “The Remedy” and screenwriter of “My Name is Art,” which will be showing its world premier. 37 S. Tag Sales & Barbecue

Jul 7 all-day

West Pawlet VFD Ladies Auxiliary hosts town wide tag sale around town. Giant raffle, bbq, flea market and food sale at the fire house, 2806 Vt. Rt. 153, West Pawlet. Flea market 9 a.m.-3 p.m. BBQ, 10 a.m. until gone, $10. Raffle drawings begin 2 p.m.

Lobster on the Green
