RUTLAND — Enjoy a beautiful run on the new Carriage Trail on Saturday, Oct. 18, put on by the Rutland Recreation & Parks Department. The race will start in Proctor. Participants should meet at Pine Hill / Giorgetti parking lot for a ride to Proctor and to register. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. with the bus leaving at 9:30 a.m. Race starts at 10 a.m. Fee is $20 if you pre-register and $25 on race day. Fee includes a commemorative 10th Annual Leaf Chase shirt and lunch after the race. Register at www.rutlandrec.com
