Friday, Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. — TINMOUTH — Dana and Susan Robinson are two guitar-playing, banjo-frailing, fiddle-sawing, and harmony-singing interpreters of the American experience. Their unique blend of contemporary songwriting and traditional Appalachian music bring to their performances a deep understanding of America’s musical heritage. Their music is a melting pot of Appalachian, British, and African influences, full of earthy grooves, elegant
melodies, stories of heroes, ne’er do-well’s, and cautionary tales. The Robinsons will perform at Tinmouth’s Old Firehouse at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10.
A native of the Pacific Northwest, Dana relocated to Vermont where he discovered both a thriving songwriters scene and the deep well of traditional mountain music.
The Old Firehouse is at located at Vermont 140 and Mountain View Road in downtown Tinmouth. Donation of $10 is suggested. Doors open at 7 p.m. Coffee, tea, and locally made treats are available, provided by local groups to support their activities.
