“Mrs. G.” makes 100 days

Webster defines a G Force as a force acting on a body as a result of acceleration or gravity.
On Sunday March 12, Peggy Golonka aka “Mrs. G.” recently back from skiing in Zermatt in Switzerland with her husband Larry, was a powerful G Force at Killington Resort defying gravity and accelerating as she soared down the slopes at Killington with her husband Larry and friends. It was a particularly exciting day for Peggy as she was once again inducted into the Killington 100 Ski Day Club.
To commemorate the special occasion, Peggy and Larry were joined at the Peak Lodge by Killington members Rocky Locey,  Katie McFadden, Kerry Dismuke, April Fitzgerald, along with friends Maria Lanka, Don McNeill, Nancy Finn, Rob Kovalesky and others.
In reflecting on her milestone, Peggy shared that after retiring, she and Larry first strived to achieve the 100 day ski season mark beginning in the 2002/2003 season. At that time Peggy recorded on a paper calendar each day she skied at Killington. Fast forward to 2012/2013 when to her surprise while getting scanned at a lift, she was informed by the lift attendant she could ‘go in to Guest Services and receive her “100 Day Hat.”
