Shrewsbury town offices burglarized

Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at the Shrewsbury town offices early Monday morning.
Vermont State Police said a Shrewsbury town employee entered the building at approximately 6:05 a.m., and encountered a male subject inside the office who fled the area on foot. The suspect is described as a white male approximately 6 feet tall last seen wearing a blue coat and dark colored ski mask. It was later learned an undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the office.
