Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 5 p.m. — RUTLAND — Healthy eating starts with learning new ways to eat, such as adding more fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, but a change to healthier eating also includes learning about balance, variety and moderation.
Rutland Regional Medical Center is offering a four-part series entitled, “Eat Well Feel Great” presented by registered dietician Kathryn Clark, MS, RD, CD. The series will include a review of what you eat, changes you can make to improve your diet and maintain a healthy weight, shared recipes, food shopping tips and 21 days of flexible meal plans. The classes will be held on Wednesdays, Oct. 1, 8, 15 and 22 from 5 – 6:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 476 Holiday Drive, Rutland. To obtain the most benefit from the program, it is important to attend all sessions. Classes are free. Registration is required.
