Benson man cited for lewd conduct, providing alcohol, drugs to minors

BENSON—State police arrested Loren Wooster, 50, of Benson Wednesday, Dec. 14, for alleged lewd and lascivious conduct with two underage girls and providing alcohol and drugs to a third. Wooster was cited with lewd and lascivious conduct, providing alcohol to a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was scheduled to appear in Rutland Superior Court the same afternoon.
The Department of Children and Family Services (DCF) notified investigators.
In August DCF workers told state police an 11-year-old girl reported being sexually abused by Wooster. A second incident, which involved a 15-year-old girl, was reported by DCF to state police in September. Investigators said Wooster also gave that victim alcohol. A third incident, involving a 17-year-old, occurred in November. Investigators said Wooster provided the girl with alcohol and drugs.
