Saturday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m.—RUTLAND—The 6th annual Dancing with the Rutland Stars event returns to the Paramount Theatre on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m It’s forecasted to be bigger and better than last year with more surprises and fun in store.
This year’s “stars” are: Tom Cohen, president of Carpet Warehouse; Marleen Cenate, SVP of business services at Heritage Family Credit Union; Sara Gilbert, assistant director of Rutland Economic Development Corp.; Thomas Hartigan, cccupational therapist of Rutland Regional Medical Center; Chris LaFlamme, Jr., owner of LaFlamme’s Inc.; Russ Marsan, owner of Carpenter & Costin; and Eliza Wilcox, leader of HR and safety at Green Mountain Power.
Their professional partners are: David Allan, of Green Mountain Swing Dancing & Brandon Music; Bill Kelley, owner of Pyramid Holistic Wellness Center; Heather Brouillard, owner of Miss Lorraine’s School of Dance; Adam King of Studio Fitness; Sheila McCutcheon of Miss Jackie’s Studio of Dance; Tracy Tedesco of Fitness Made Fun!; Kylee Lawrence, owner and instructor of Studio 15, Academy of the Arts.
While the entertaining nature of the event is certainly a draw for the dancers, most are compelled to participate in the performance because of the important cause the event supports. All event proceeds benefit the Rutland Area Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice’s Kids on the Move and Pediatric High-Tech rehabilitation programs.
