WALLINGFORD — On Sunday, Aug. 31, at approximately 10:55 p.m., the Vermont State Police received a 911 call from the Cumberland Farms Store located at 309 North Main Street in Wallingford, Vt. The caller advised that he was the cashier at the store and had just been robbed at knifepoint.
Multiple Troopers along with the assistance of the Rutland City Police Department’s K9 unit conducted interviews and a search of the surrounding area. Evidence from the scene was collected and the investigation remains active.
The cashier described the assailants as two white males in their 20s and at least one displayed a large knife.
