Killington golf league hosts Country Western Night

On Friday, Aug. 26, Killington hosted Country Western Night on the golf course. Golfers donned cowboy boots and hats and attempted to tee off while standing on a hay bale! Golfers also made their best attempt at the speed putting challenge, which was to putt 12 balls in under two minutes. Results are as follows.

The first place team with -6 was made up of Brian Rose, Ryan Scatchard and Ken Rusko.

The second place team with -5 was made up of Kirk Turner, K.C., Pete Lajoie and Jim Warfel.

The winner of the longest drive for the men was Ryan Scatchard, who also won closest to the pin. The winner of the longest drive for the women was Mary Lou Scofield.

For the speed putting challenge, Mike Perry took first, Paul Hummel second, Peter Paulding third, and Marc Scott fourth.
