RCHS hosts “Dog Days of Summer” pool party

Sunday, Aug. 28 at 10 a.m.—RUTLAND TOWN— Let your favorite pooch enjoy the end of summer with a dip in the pool from 10 a.m. to noon, Sunday, Aug. 28 at North Wood Pool, Post Road in Rutland Town! There will be a free swim for dogs only throughout the event, along with games and fun activities for humans and their dogs. Dogs must be leashed, except when in the pool, and Vermont law requires that all dogs are up to date on rabies shots. Puppies under four months old and dogs in heat will not be allowed to participate. Aggressive dogs will be asked to leave. Donation: $5 per dog, free will donation for people. All proceeds go towards the care of homeless animals in the community. For more information, contact jen@rchsvt.org or call 802-483-9171.
