KILLINGTON – Killington Resort announced July 21 the arrival of a new fleet of GolfBoards at the Killington Golf Course, making Killington Resort the only golf course in Northern New England to offer the innovative golf cart alternative.

“This is the largest differentiator the sport has seen in decades, GolfBoards really speed up the game significantly,” said Dave Beckwith, golf and snow sports manager at Killington Resort. “We’re excited to share our new equipment with the playing public – there’s no better atmosphere for the responsive GolfBoards than our mountainous course.”

According to the GolfBoard company, “GolfBoard is changing the way golfers of all ages experience the game. Golfers can now ‘Surf the Earth’ from shot-to-shot in a way that feels like snowboarding or surfing. Powered by an environmentally friendly lithium-ion battery, the GolfBoard is an easy-to-ride fully electric, four-wheel-drive vehicle that adds a whole new level of fun and excitement.”

Rentals are $30 for 18-holes or $18 for 9-holes. For more information visit www.killington.com.
