Thursday, July 14 at 7 p.m. — FAIR HAVEN — James Mee and the Freeze take center stage in the gazebo on Thursday, July 14 at 7 p.m. for the Fair Haven Concerts in the Park series. This popular band is always a hit in the Fair Haven park.
James Mee and the Freeze consists of guitars, bass, saxophone/flute, drums and vocals, and is currently comprised of five musicians including Rob “Perch” Henrichon; “Big” Mike Sullivan; Steve “Mac” Mclauchlan; Terrance “Terry” Jaye; and Jimmy “Arctic” Mee. They have a lot of experience and a large selection of material, ranging from Texas swing to Motown; from rock and roll to rhythm and blues; and are all recognizable hits from a variety of eras, styles, and genres.
Concert-goers will enjoy free ice cream cones again this week. In addition, hot dogs, sodas, and popcorn are available for purchase. Free ice cream night always features caramel popcorn, a crowd favorite.
The 50/50 raffle has been very popular this year as are the weekly door prize drawings.
The concert goes on rain or shine. The rain location is the Baptist Church at the south end of the park.
