Hunt charged with sexual assault of minor girl

PITTSFORD—On May 24, 2016, the Vermont State Police were notified by the Department of Children and Family Services (DCF) of their concern of an intimate relationship between Victoria “Jaydon” Hunt, from Whiting, Vt., and a 14-year-old girl.

The Rutland Unit for Special Investigations became involved and during investigation it was learned Hunt has engaged in a sexual relationship with the 14-year-old girl over the last month. Based upon the findings, Hunt was located and lodged at the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility. Hunt was scheduled to be arraigned in Rutland Superior Court on June 24, 2016, to answer the charge of sexual assault.

The Rutland Unit for Special Investigations (RUSI) is a multi-disciplinary team that investigates, prosecutes, and serves victims of sex crimes and child victims of severe physical abuse throughout Rutland County.
