Riders battle in East Coast Showdown, at Killington Bike Park

KILLINGTON — The Vittoria Eastern States Cup returns to Killington Resort’s Bike Park July 2 and 3. Top mountain bikers across the country converge to compete in Enduro and Downhill races at the Killington Bike Park. The Downhill East Coast Showdown No. 2 will be held July 2; the Enduro East Coast Showdown No. 2 will be held July 3. The Enduro regional championship series final comes back on Sept. 11.

Registration

There is no pre-registration for the Eastern States Cup Downhill race. All registration will take place from on Friday, July 1 and Saturday, July 2 in the K-1 Lodge Guest Services. This is, however, a pre-registration form to reserve a spot at the Eastern States Cup Enduro, with field size limited to 175 riders.

Schedule

On Friday, July 1, check-in is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Guest Services at K1 Lodge. Downhill and Enduro practice will be on course from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

On Saturday, July 2, Downhill registration will run from 8 to 10 a.m. and Enduro registration will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., both at Guest Services at K1 Lodge. Downhill practice will be held on course from 9 to 11 a.m. The race will follow, 12:30 to 3 p.m. on the course.

On Sunday, July 3, Enduro registration will run from 8 to 8:45 a.m. at Guest Services at K1 Lodge. The race will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the course.
