2ADAM12 performs season finale of Jackson Gore Summer Music Series

Friday, Aug. 29 at 6 p.m. — LUDLOW — Okemo Mountain Resort will host its final free concert of the season on Aug. 29, featuring 2ADAM12 as part of the Jackson Gore Summer Music Series presented by Vermont Properties and Development, Inc. The concert is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. in the courtyard at the Jackson Gore Inn.

There is no mistaking the sultry, soul rock sounds of Adam Payne and 2ADAM12. Payne started playing the piano at age 8 by mimicking the music from cartoons and video games. During high school he took up the guitar and the drums. These days, Adam can be found vibing out solo, or with the full band, 2ADAM12, a collection of some of the finest players in the Greater Boston area. With a line-up ranging from the standard four to a gargantuan eight, an Adam Payne show is surely one to remember.

Admission is free and the grounds open at 5 p.m. Families are welcome and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets. In case of rain, the concerts will move indoors. Dining options include fresh-from-the-grill burgers, hot dogs, and other summertime favorites, plus beer and wine is available for purchase. Okemo’s Adventure Zone stays open late on Friday nights for concertgoers who like a little adventure with their music.
