On Wednesday, May 28, Killington residents voted to fill two new seats on its Select Board. Voters approved expanding the board from three to five members on Town Meeting Day.
Bill Vines beat David McComb for the two-year seat (253-55 with 4 write-ins) while Jay Hickory beat Jon Wysocki for the one-year seat (190-124 with 3 write-ins).
Vines and Hickory will join Jim Haff, Patrick Cushing and Rick Bowen (the latter two who also recently won seats on the board this past March).
In total 318 votes were cast in Wednesday’s special election. About 20 fewer than at Town Meeting Day in March.
