Weather impacts Killington mid-week skiing

default Drone Photos from 5-1-25 Killington Resort Winter 2024-2025

Killington Resort planned on keeping its lifts running during the week until May 11 (then weekends only), but rain and warm temps over the last several days have taken a serious toll on its snowpack. Therefore, Killington Resort will be closed Thursday, May 8, and Friday, May 9, to preserve what they have left and to move snow around to make a more enjoyable ski/ride experience for everyone this weekend.

The Killington Resort team is still assessing and will provide an update later this week on the progress its expert grooming team was able to make. Regardless of the work they able to do over the next few days, the terrain this weekend will still be for advanced and expert skiers and riders only.
