Saturday, Nov. 11 at 6 p.m.—RUTLAND—The Chaffee Art Center on 16 So. Main St. invites the community to the 1st annual Cabaret & Silent Art Auction fundraiser, The Magic of the Heart, on Saturday. Enjoy local musical entertainment, wine, hors d’oeuvres, and a silent art auction. Doors open at 6 p.m.
The Cabaret live musical entertainment promises to be a must see…and hear! Piano, guitar, and assorted musical tracks will accompany performers who will fill the mansion with song. Cabaret Director Marisa Valent, will be one of the performers.
The Silent Art Auction items will be displayed throughout the downstairs galleries for attendees to bid on. The beautiful pieces of art come from a collection that has accumulated at the Chaffee over the years, and soon will have a new home.
