Police said a Castleton woman died Friday, Dec. 23 from blunt force trauma after a tree fell on her.
The 51-year-old woman was outside of her home on East Creek Drive in Castleton during a high-wind storm and was trying to get back inside before the tree fell, Castleton Police Chief Peter Mantello said.
She was taken to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
