Sunday, Nov. 6 — WOODSTOCK — St. James Episcopal Church of Woodstock will host the lecture series “Understanding Each Other — Comparative Religions.”
The series is designed to help us appreciate the faith traditions practiced in our community, helping us know each other more fully.
The series will explore religious origins, history and major beliefs. Presentations will last an hour, with time for questions and answers to discuss similarities and differences.
The first presentation features Rabbi Ilene Haigh of Congregation Shir Shalom on Sunday Nov. 6 at 2 p.m. in the St. James Parish Hall. Light refreshments will follow.
The series is free and open to all, but a non-perishable food donation for the Woodstock Food Shelf would be appreciated at this time of need.
