Saturday, July 23 — WOODSTOCK — The Farm to Ballet Project is an original ballet about a farm through the seasons. Dancing vegetables, familiar animals, and even the seasons themselves come to life through dance in a joyful and entertaining show.
The ballet explores the relationship between farmers and land, natural food cycles, and the human role in ecosystems.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The performance begins at 6:30 p.m.
The Farmhouse Café will be serving ice cream and hot and cold beverages. Billings Farm will also be selling maple cotton candy and Farmhouse Snack Packs, which include cheese, fruit, crackers and other savory items. Prior to the performance, children are invited to make a bean buddy necklace to take home.
Billings Farm & Museum will use the proceeds from ticket sales to help fund the expansion of our Farmstead Gardens. Multiple ticket price options are available in order to make the show affordable for all. Adults: $35/$20; youth (0-16): $10/$0.
