Tuesday, July 5 — FAIR HAVEN — Beginning in July, Fair Haven Free Library invites everyone to dive in, join in, and make a splash about reading all summer long.
There will be celebrity story tellers, magic, reading challenges, book club discussions, music and much more!
- The first story-time is Tuesday, July 5 with the Amazing Courtney Grenier leading us off. The fun begins at the library at 10 a.m. Alyx the Magician will be here to entertain families the following evening, Wednesday, July 6 at 6 p.m. Her family friendly show will be certain to astound the audience.
- Tuesday, July 12 at 10 a.m. is story-time with the Awesome Katie Hart.
- Tuesday, July 19 at 10 a.m., story-time with the Incredible Teann McCrea.
- Tuesday, July 26 is story-time with the Incredible Hannah Wood.
- On Friday, Aug. 5 , Carl with be here to keep us all singing with On-Tone Music. His family friendly program begins at 1 p.m., complete with sea songs!
Additionally, there is a summer reading challenge for students in grades 3-12. Stop in the library to pick up a recording form. The adult challenge that began at the beginning of the year will continue. You are welcome to begin that challenge at any time. The book club for adults continues to be a source of great discussions for its members. The Fair Haven Free Library is also hosting three more of the very popular StoryWalks on the town green. The crew have once again prepared an outstanding event for everyone’s enjoyment. They may be picture books, but readers of all ages find them both meaningful and fun!
