The event netted about $5,500 to help get people into housing with social rides, scavenger hunts and nature activities. Both DJ Bill Moore and Creed’s Food Truck were on hand to entertain and feed.

“It’s a little celebration of spring, of doing the outdoor activities we love as a community, and of these fantastic trails at Pine Hill,” said Angus Chaney, executive director at HPC. “As everyone knows, it’s been a rough couple years and one of the things we’ve missed has been seeing everyone in person. So we’re taking our annual fundraiser outside and inviting everyone to join us in the park.”

The event was sponsored by Alpine Bike Works, Rutland Regional Medical Center, Community Care Network, the Granite Group, Vermont Bedrooms and the Installation Station, as well as many Vermont businesses that have donated prizes for the event.
