The K-1 Base Lodge has been torn down by excavators. The excavation began Monday, March 28 and the final piece was taken down Thursday, April 7. There is still work to do on getting the old concrete foundation out as well as hauling debris away. Construction of the new lodge is set to begin shortly thereafter.
