Killington raised $20K to benefit Ukraine relief efforts

Staff report

Killington Resort has pledged to donate $20,000 to the Red Cross’s Ukraine relief efforts. The proceeds from the virtual silent auction held at the K-1 Base Lodge tear down party, March 20, entirely benefitted the Red Cross’s Ukraine relief efforts. The silent auction raised $9,480 for the efforts and Killington Resort matched it through the Play Forever Fund, bringing the donation up to an even $20,000.

“We’re proud to be in a position to give so generously in support of the efforts the Red Cross is making for Ukraine efforts,” said Mike Solimano, president and general manager of Killington Resort and Pico Mountain. “We will continue to support this cause through the ongoing Spring Pass sale, where $5 of every pass sold will continue to benefit this cause.”
