March 5 to April 8 — RUTLAND —The Chaffee Art Center hosts a showcase of young artists from Vermont schools and homeschoolers in pre-K to Grade 12 for this annual student exhibit. Its goal for this exhibit is to provide talented young people the opportunity to see their work and the works of others displayed in its 1890s historic mansion’s professional gallery. The show was moved to March to incorporate Youth Art Month and its theme “Art Connects Us.” Entries in all of the arts were encouraged, including: a variety of art mediums, theater, culinary, poetry, music.
The exhibit opened on Saturday, March 5 and will remain open until Friday, April 8 during its open hours: Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays noon to 4 p.m. andSaturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.Appointments can be made by request by calling 802-775-0356.
