The Billings Backyard Series presents Seed Starting & Garden Planning Like a Champ with Master Gardener Ben Pauly. Join Ben Pauly as he talks about the whys and hows of starting your own garden from seed including sources, materials, methods, planning, and variety recommendations. For gardeners who already have their seed catalogues and are dreaming about all the wondrous unique varieties to try, learn how to maximize your gardening potential. And for those interested in planting varieties that can’t be found at the garden nursery, learn to start them yourself.

Pauly is the creative director of landscape and design for the Woodstock Inn & Resort who is behind the beauty of the Kelly Way Gardens and the Sunflower House at Billings Farm. He has led several past Billings Backyard Workshops on garden topics. This workshop will be held simultaneously on Zoom and on site at Billings Farm & Museum. The Zoom presentation will be recorded and available to all paid participants. In-person attendees are expected to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
