Feb. 18, The Red Fox in Bondville, Vermont on Sat. Feb.19, McAddy’s Pub in Troy, New York on Fri. Mar. 4 and Bombyx in Northampton, Massachusetts on Sat. Mar. 5.

Andrews, who is well-known among roots-music fans, is a native son and a beloved musician of New Orleans who has a commanding voice and fierce trombone sound, both a powerful, emotional, and resonant blend of smoothness and grit, a musical experience that never fails to meet the moment. He comes from a storied and extended family of musicians. Andrews and his older brother, Derrick Tabb of the Rebirth Brass Band, along with their younger cousin Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews, learned the history of the brass band tradition firsthand from iconic figures like Tuba Fats. Andrews fronts his own high-powered ensemble that expertly fuses traditions ranging from jazz to gospel to rock to blues and to funk, all in the same show, sometimes in the same song. Any show with Glen is always a memorable night that will be sure to wear down your dancing shoes.
