Skiing during World Cup weekend

In addition to making snow on Superstar for the World Cup races and Skyelark for a training run,  the snowmaking team is also aggressively working to expand terrain for top-to-bottom skiing and riding for non-racers eager to ski while at Killington Resort.

Once again, on Nov. 5, Killington was the first resort in the East to open for the season.

Only intermediate and advanced level terrain is currently open. There is no beginner terrain available. For the latest updates on ski and snowboard operations and conditions, be sure to check killington.com/conditions before traveling to ski or snowboard.

Additionally, skiing and riding guests looking to access the K-1 Base Lodge will need to purchase a HomeLight Killington Cup general admission ticket and anyone 12 years and older will also need to show proof of vaccine or a negative Covid-19 test result (PCR or rapid antigen) that was administered by an official testing center. The test must occur no earlier than Nov. 24, 2021. Home testing kit results will not be accepted for entry. Without a general admission ticket and proof of vaccine/negative test, there will be no access to the K-1 base lodge for warming, food and beverage, retail, guest services, or indoor restrooms.

Restrooms will be available at the Peak Lodge or portable toilets will be available in the base area, outside of the event venue.

Food and beverage will be available in the Peak Lodge and at the Subie Shack (located at the bottom of the North Ridge Quad). The resort expects all food venues to be very busy, so plan accordingly.

Rentals at Snowshed Lodge will be open for guests who need rental equipment Thursday-Sunday. Please park at Snowshed or Ramshead, or shuttle to Snowshed prior to going to K-1 if you need rental equipment.

All private lessons will meet at Snowshed Lodge on Saturday and Sunday and then shuttle to K-1 Base Area.
