Killington town to distribute remaining Covid relief funds

Nearly $11,000 to benefit kids, food shelves

According to the town of Killington there is $10,869 still available in the Covid Relief Fund, which was originally seeded by a GoFundMe campaign and a donation of $60,000 from Killington Resort. Allocation for the fund balance was expected to be approved at the Select Board meeting Tuesday night, Nov. 16. Three entities will be awarded:

  • $3,145 for recreation scholarships
  • $2,000 Killington Elementary School Sunshine Fund
  • $2,862 to both of the town’s churches (Church of our Savior at Mission Farm and the Sherburne United Church of Christ a.k.a. “Little White Church”) to support their food pantries.
