Saturday, Sept. 25 at 9 a.m. — POULTNEY—Gently used and new clothing of all shapes and sizes will be available for free at Revive Church’s free clothing giveaway being held Saturday Sept. 25 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Modern Woodsmen Hall on Route 30 in the town of Wells.
Adult and children’s clothing, outerwear including hats, scarves, coats and gloves will be available in all sizes and totally free of charge. “This is a great time to clean out those closets and donate clothes you no longer wear to help the greater Poultney community. If you want to donate you can drop off clothes to a bin at 152 Beaman St. in Poultney or arrange pick up by calling 802-546-0212,” said co-pastor Cassie Kerber.
Due to Covid-19 precautions there will be a limit to the number of guests allowed in the hall at any one time so guests are warned that there may be a line for admittance. Additionally, face masks and contact information for tracking will be required of all guests entering the hall.
Revive Church is a non-denominational Christian church dedicated “to change lives, reach the next generation and impact the culture for Jesus.” All are welcome to service held every Sunday at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. at Green Mountain College in The Gorge hall.
