Man dies in head-on crash on Route 107 in Stockbridge

STOCKBRIDGE—Monday, at 2:11 p.m., state police received a 911 call of a head-on two vehicle car crash on Route 107 in Stockbridge.

Investigation determined that Blake Manning, age 31 of Fairlee, who was driving a Hyundai sedan, was traveling eastbound when he crossed over the center line and collided with the front end of a Toyota Tacoma, traveling westbound.

Manning was declared diseased on-scene.

The occupants of the Tacoma, Andrew Donahue, age 35, and Taylor Lewis, age 23 ,both from Fair Haven, were extricated by rescue personnel and transported to Gifford Medical Center and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for significant injuries.

At this time, speed is not believed to be a factor in this crash, according to police. At the time of the crash the weather consisted of cloudy/overcast skies and the paved roadway was dry.
