Aug. 5 at 6 p.m. — WHITE RIVER JUNCTION — The White River Junction U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Healthcare System announced this month that Re-Creation’s “Rockin’ in the USA!” show will appear at the Briggs Opera House in White River Junction on Aug. 5 bringing a new stage presentation to veterans and their community.
“We are elated to once again host another performance by the talented Re-Creation USA cast!” said Brett Rusch, executive director of White River Junction VA Healthcare System. “Their performance is entertainment for all ages that inspires those who watch and this year it is made possible by our community partners.”
This year, the White River Junction VA Healthcare System has partnered with Briggs Opera House and Kinney Pike Insurance to offer this free event to veterans and their community. This event is open to veterans and the community at large.

The group represents Re-Creation USA, Inc., which provides a national program of live entertainment for America’s hospitalized veterans in Veterans Homes and Hospitals.

Re-Creation cast members have been cited by the Freedom’s Foundation at Valley Forge as “America’s ambassadors to hospitalized veterans.”
Re-Creation was founded in 1976 and performs in all 50 states. Credits include appearances at some of the nation’s most prestigious fairs and festivals, at local, regional, state and national corporation banquets and conventions, and at major resort areas. Civic clubs, fraternal groups, schools, and public and private organizations now keep Re-Creation booked for more than 300 concerts each year.
